这个忙于结婚的女人前几天在J&S华沙杯上作为卫冕冠军,在第二轮输给了去年曾经轻易打败的瓦库伦科。不知道是手腕又有了伤势,还是她对于职业生涯已经不再在意,她在相继宣布退出法网而温网后,今天又宣布不再参加之前曾经承诺参加的美网,从此挂拍离开职业网坛....
不知道休伊特是什么心情,我反正是很不爽。我总觉得她似乎走得很落寞,现在排名第四的她,曾经n次在决赛输给她的姐妹海宁,偏偏还碰上大小威廉姆斯这一对活宝,以至于多次打进大满贯决赛,最终仅仅赢得了2005年的美网,还被那群中国体育记者称为千年老二(叫出这个名字的人实在很讨人嫌!),在她最后的一场wta告别赛里,她仅仅是打到第二轮,不知道是她对网球实在没了兴趣还是对未来的生活更加期待。
我希望,她能够如辛吉斯所说,在告别网坛的不久就复出,不知道她是不是比辛吉斯更耐得住没有网球的寂寞呢?
